Nearly 400 items are part of the silent auction, starting as low as $50. Some of the other notable items include:
The ChadTough Foundation was established in honor of Chad Carr, the grandson of former Michigan football coach Lloyd Carr. Chad Carr died from complications of an inoperable brain tumor — diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) — in 2015 when he was 5 years old. Entering last year's gala, more than $3 million has been raised for pediatric brain tumor research.
